1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the DTS Service Centre website and the provision of automotive repair, servicing and related services by DTS Service Centre (Automotive Services), Charters Towers, QLD (“DTS Service Centre”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Our Services

DTS Service Centre provides mechanical repairs, log book servicing, roadworthy inspections, auto electrical and air conditioning repairs, spare parts supply and fitting, fleet maintenance and 24/7 breakdown assistance for cars, 4WDs, utes, trucks, buses, earthmoving equipment and commercial fleets. Availability of specific services may vary depending on vehicle type, parts availability and workshop capacity.

3. Quotes & Estimates

1. Quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time and may change once a vehicle has been physically inspected.
2. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before carrying out any additional work that exceeds an approved quote.
3. Diagnostic time may be chargeable where a fault requires investigation before a quote can be provided.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

1. Bookings made by phone, in person or via our website are subject to workshop availability.
2. We ask that you provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a booking.
3. Vehicles left for servicing outside business hours are left at the owner’s risk until checked in by our staff.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing, such as under a fleet or commercial account arrangement. We accept the payment methods displayed in-store or as advised at the time of booking. Vehicles may be held until payment is received.

6. Parts & Warranty

1. Parts supplied and fitted by DTS Service Centre are covered by the relevant manufacturer or supplier warranty as applicable.
2. Workmanship is carried out to a professional standard; any concerns with completed work should be reported to us promptly so we can investigate.
3. Warranties do not cover damage arising from misuse, accident, normal wear and tear, or work carried out by other parties after our service.

7. Vehicle Collection

Customers are responsible for collecting their vehicle within a reasonable timeframe after being notified that work is complete. DTS Service Centre is not liable for loss or damage to vehicles left uncollected for an extended period, and reasonable storage arrangements or fees may apply.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DTS Service Centre’s liability is limited to the resupply of the relevant service or the cost of having the service resupplied. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Website Use

Content on this website is provided for general information about our services and does not constitute mechanical or legal advice. We aim to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee it is error-free at all times.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
